Dog Walks and Puppy Walks

Your dog (or puppy) gets a walk around your neighborhood. Perfect for busy days and dogs with extra energy to burn. Walks are great for exercise and socialization training! We can stick to a routine route or change it up to spoil your pet with new sights, sounds and smells. Your choice of a 30 minute or 60 minute walk depending on your dog’s needs. Great for pet parents who work long work days and still need their dog to stay active.

Adventure Dog Walks

Your dog gets a walk in a new location to be spoiled with new sights and smells. Great for socialization training or long work outs. Adventure walk locations may include public parks or dog parks around Baton Rouge. Dog park trips will require owners to sign a Dog Park Safety Waiver. Great for high energy dogs or those that enjoy new environments.

Dog Walking Rates

30 Minute Dog Walk $28

A thirty minute walk for your dog in your neighborhood.
30 Minute Puppy Walk $33

A thirty minute walk for your puppy in your neighborhood.
60 Minute Dog Walk $53

A sixty minute walk for your dog in your neighborhood.

Adventure Walk $45

A 45-60 minute walk for your dog at new location, such as a local park or dog park.
Additional Dog Rate $5

For neighborhood or adventure walks including more than one dog, an additional $5 rate per additional dog applies.

Dog Walking Policies

Below are our policies related to our Dog Walking services. Please take a minute to also review our FAQs & General Policies.

Dog Leashes

No retractable leashes for large or medium dogs that pull. Please use the appropriately sized collar or harness for your dog.

Hot Days

Sitter will check concrete and asphalt for safe conditions for your pet’s feet. If the surface is too hot, we may resume walks on the grass or do a potty break with the remainder of the service’s time inside to play. Walk times may be shortened due to high humidity or heat advisories. Black haired dogs absorb more heat to their body due to the color of their coat. Walk times will be shortened in the event of hot conditions.

Cancellation Policy for Dog Walking Services

Cancellation of dog walking services requires notice of 24 hours. If a cancellation is made on short notice, owners will receive a partial refund if a nonrefundable deposit was not previously included. Emily Says Sit LLC reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of 100% of the scheduled visits for services cancelled with less than 24 hours notice prior to the scheduled service.

Emily Says Sit LLC holds the right to cancel a booking for any reason. In the event a sitter cancels a service, owners will be notified and fully refunded.
